ABOUT

Passion, performance, and mentorship resonate through every note Marcya Daneille sings and every lesson she teaches. A stylistically diverse singer and voice coach, Marcya shares her mastery of vocal technique and love of performance to entertain, enlighten and educate audiences from all walks of life.

Marcya's extensive performance history includes a wide range of settings, from festivals and educational institutions to intimate jazz clubs and theaters. After time abroad in Italy and England, Marcya settled in New York where she recorded her debut CD, Keeping it Simple, which was executive produced by jazz luminary Wycliffe Gordon.

Upon returning to the Midwest and settling in Wisconsin, Marcya  became a regular on the jazz scene, holding residencies at prestigious venues such as Blu in the historic Pfister Hotel, the art immersive Saint Kate the Arts Hotel, and the chic Ambassador Room (formerly the Pump Room) in Chicago. Her notable festival appearances include Summerfest and the Fresh Coast Jazz Festival. Marcya was also a featured artist on the PBS Wisconsin educational series Re/sound: Songs of Wisconsin.

Choosing to maintain a more conservative performance schedule, at the core of Marcya Daneille’s work is to continue sharing her knowledge with the next generation of vocal excellence. Marcya leverages decades of performance and real-world expertise into a mentorship style that is both rigorous and transformative. Her goal is to equip clients with vocal technique that will help them sing in a more healthy and efficient manner while supporting their journeys of self-exploration and artistic discovery.
